The story behind SignalSqueeze

Built because I needed to see what I was missing.

A personal research problem led to a service for business owners who cannot watch every horizon themselves.

01

How the Idea Was Born

SignalSqueeze began with a problem I experienced myself.

While developing Josephine, an AI workflow-protection project, I realized that one of my biggest challenges wasn’t finding information. It was discovering what I didn’t know to look for.

Today, anyone can ask an AI system a question and receive an answer. But you still have to know what to ask. And that is where the problem begins.

What if a competitor is developing something that could change your business? What if a potential partner, a funding opportunity, or a new market is emerging somewhere you aren’t looking?

You cannot ask about something you don’t know exists.

02

I Needed Something Different

I didn’t need another news service or a collection of industry headlines.

I needed something dedicated to Josephine, continuously looking beyond my own field of view. Something that could discover relevant developments, investigate their significance, and explain what they might mean for the decisions I was making.

So I created SignalSqueeze.

The results exceeded my expectations. I began discovering opportunities, competitive developments, and strategic questions I might never have found on my own.

It saved me time and research expense. More importantly, it gave me information directly relevant to my project, accompanied by practical considerations and important uncertainties.

For the first time, I no longer felt that I was watching the horizon alone.

03

Why Make It Available to Others?

I have spent much of my life building businesses. I know how difficult it can be to make decisions when your time, attention, and resources are limited.

Large organizations can employ researchers, analysts, and consultants to watch markets and competitors. Most smaller businesses cannot.

I created SignalSqueeze for my own needs, but eventually realized that other business owners might benefit from the same approach.

I am not trying to build another business empire. I simply want to make something I found genuinely useful available to others.

04

Your Business. Your Signals.

SignalSqueeze starts with your public business website. It uses that information to develop an understanding of your business and search for relevant opportunities, threats, partnerships, competitive developments, and market changes.

You can correct its initial picture of the business. Those corrections inform the research but do not stop Sqz from exploring unexpected developments.

You don’t need to provide access to your private systems, internal documents, customer records, or email.

You don’t need a credit card to begin your free trial. And you don’t need to spend hours figuring out what questions to ask.

That’s the reason SignalSqueeze exists.
